Barley

Barley is the first cereal that has ever been cultivated in the world and until 1400 it was the most exploited cereal for bread-making. Trought time barley has left the way to wheat to the point that it was even in danger of being forgotten. However, barley has recently regained its prestigious role as its market demand has grown exponentially. This is not related to its medicinal properties but rather a reflection of a good media marketing propaganda. Barley is now increasingly present on the tables of the world’s population as it is a useful food to preserve well-being. It is particularly pleasing to the taste as well as a source of beneficial properties.
